The following settings can be used to configure any PC, PDA or Handheld PC to connect to various US ISPs or International ISP for accessing the internet. All of these ISPs use PPP for their connections. In order to read newsgroups with Windows CE you will need a news reader. bSquare and Ruksun have news readers for Windows CE. There are two scripting programs, bUSEFUL Script and DialupMaster, available for users that must enter their information by hand. You can also use AOL's Instant Messenger with Windows CE 2.0 and 2.11 H/PCs. ICQ is also available for H/PC 2.0 devices as well as P/PCs. Users have reported problems using ICQ with Windows CE 2.11 and 3.0.

POP3 Access via the Web
For easy access to your e-mail while on the road, cyber cafe's or at computer shows, you can use Mailstart.com. They offer free access to POP3 e-mail addresses and allow you to read, send and delete e-mail. The best news of all is that the e-mail is retained in your mailbox until you retrieve it via the Inbox or your desktop. This service is only compatible with the H/PC Pro units at this time.
