Hi CHris, I have a Nino300 and I saw that I can not upgrade to Win CE 2.2. Why? I can't even see the Explore that is present on the Aero Compaq... Do you have any tips? NEC (Support) has listed a patch for their 770 & 880 models that will fix a memory problem in their Handheld PRO models. I have a LG Phenom Express which is starting to do some strange things also as my memory is starting to get filled.

I purchased some flash memory and moved some of the larger files to the flash but the problems still exist.

Could you mention this issue to LG?

i have just upgraded from C E 1 to CE 2 on a Casio A 11. Now that I see how difficult it it to obtain support from Microsoft I'm beginning to wish I had stuck with a Palm. The search engine on the Microsoft site does not recognise the term Win CE 2 at all and it does not contain any reference to product registration. It occurs to me that it must have required quite a lot of effort on Microsoft's part to remove support for CE 2 from it's sites. Simply updating the site with new material to cover CE 3 would not have required removing every single mention of CE 2 resources.

I bought my Phenom LG in London last March. However, I live and work in the Czech Republic.

I have two problems.

1/ I can send email and surf the web with no problem in England, but when I’m in the Czech Republic or any other country, I just can’t connect. (Of course, I know most countries have a different-sized telephone jack than the one they use in the UK, but my phenom came equipped with a “continental” phone cord). Is there some way I can remedy this? Should I enter a different Init string in the connection settings, perhaps?

2/ I’d been using my Phenom for three or four months without any problems connecting to my PC. Then one day, when I tried to connect to my main PC, it simply didn’t. The Phenom made the usual ringing noise it makes when I stick the connection cord in, but it eventually timed out repeatedly without achieving a connection. After a bit of investigating, I eventually found that when I looked in the “mobile devices” folder on my PC’s desktop, there is no icon depicting my Phenom – whereas before, there always had been. (In other words, before the problem started, I had been able to plug the connection cord into the side of my Phenom, then open the “mobile devices” folder on my PC, and click the Phenom icon to begin the connection process. Now, I can’t, because there is no icon in the “mobile devices” folder – it’s completely empty.When I first installed my Phenom software, there was one there.) I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Phenom software – but that didn’t work. I thought at one point that there must be some kind of conflict with some other, subsequently installed software. However, a month or two ago, my hard drive collapsed, and I had to reformat my c drive. The first item of software that I reinstalled after this was my Phenom software. Even then – with no extra software to conflict with – it still didn’t work. Can someone help me with this, please, because it’s driving me nuts. Thanks, James Drake, Prague, Czech Republic. Now, I want to use 3Com EtherLink III LAN PC Card to access to LAN, but when I try to install the NIC driver on my MobilePro 770 via my laptop connecting, the installation requires Microsoft Windows CE CD.
