Windows CE 2.0 Development Systems [an error occurred while processing this directive] Digital Equipment's Strong ARM SA-1100 This system is a Strong ARM SA-1100 running at 200mhz at 2 volts. It also has 16mb of 60ns dram. DEC has no plans for direct sales of Windows CE systems. Hitachi's 7709 development system is running at 80mhz. Casio, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi, and LG Electronics are using this chip. (Lower Picture Courtesy of Motorola.) This is a protoype of a Motorola 821 system with 16mb of EDO ram and built in flash. It has Ethernet onboard but there are no drivers yet. Motorola is offering the development kits for $0 cost to encourage development. NEC Vr4101 This is a prototype of a 640 x 480 screen. No units have been announced with this screen size. Philips PR31700 and UCB1200 (Two Chip Pic) is running at 75mhz. Philips Velo 500, Sharp, and Compaq are using this chipset.
