LISTEN UP DEVELOPERS!!!!
Since i recently found out how long it takes to learn how to program for pocket pc's i decided that ill just pass my ideas out to people who know how to use them.

here are some games that NEED to be made:
1. a duke nukem 3d port (gotta make it!)
2. A civII style game (perfect for the pocket pc!!!!!!)
3. winamp for pocket pc (somehow)
4. some better RTS games!!!
5. wing commander
please ppl add to this list, it seems developers need some ideas

with greatest respect to all developers, but when you look at some things out on the market then yes, some of them do need ideas!

I think what the PocketPC Community needs is a Game like "Syndicate" from Bullfrog, ithink it would be perfekt to play it on the PocktPC!!

Personally, I would love to see Grand Theft Auto on Pocket PC... I heard recently that the game will soon be appearing on Palm OS - so I suppose it's more than doable. Any developers out there want to have a go at that?

baldurs gate would be cool although it might be a little to demanding on current ppcs

Duke Nukem would be too big to port over. maybe like 40mb, but if you have a hefty flashcard it might work. I would like to see ELITE FRONTIER.. that would be an awsome space strategy game small enough to work on a ppc.

Can anyone say "police quest"?
Very do able and very simple architecture yet extreme fun by all means.
Duke Nukem is a great idea, very fun and no it isn't too big, I found a full ver of only 12 megs.
That is comparable to an 8.5 meg quake shareware port.
I would personally like to see a faster SNES emulater but I doubt we will get that.

GTA would also be great but probably very choppy. Probably worth a try though. Heh if a palm could do it ANYTHING could.

Blackthorne also seems like a good idea, I support any game with shotguns and the freedom to innocent bystanders.

the original comanche was pretty small. jetfighter2 was only 1-3mb.. i'm pretty sure it came on one floppy.

Oh yeah... just port Duke3D... is that copywrite violation lawsuit I hear.. if you want Duke3D ported then ask 3D Realms. Not that they would want to waste their time on such a small scale project. In addition it would suffer the normal unplayability and lack of controls associated with the pocket Doom.
