The PocketDOS DOS File System driver is a specialised driver that is really only useful for those few advanced users who both require it and know how to use it. It is not installed by default, and marked "For Advanced Users Only" because of that reason.
If you are not an advanced user and do not have a specific need for this driver, then you should not install it. Generally (with computer software) it is a good idea to stay away from disabled options labeled as requiring 'advanced users' if one doesn't even know what the option means.
If you have installed this driver, and it has caused problems, then uninstalling it should solve those problems for you. If the setup program says do something specific (like remove the card), then it is a good idea to follow the directions, as they describe the actions one needs to follow to install/uninstall the driver correctly, hence why they are given.
