<X-WYSIWYGv1.0>I wanted to keep you all informed about the name change for CEWindows.NET. Earlier today, I renamed CEWindows.NET to Pocket PC FAQ - http://www.pockepcfaq.com. Also, the message boards have changed from discuss.cewindows.net to http://forums.pocketpcfaq.com

All existing links to CEWindows.NET will work for at least a month. So please update any links you have to CEWindows.NET to use PocketPCFAQ.com instead. The directories and filenames are identical.

Thank for your support.

There is a typo on the main page in the announcement...
The link http://www.pockepcfaq.com should read http://www.pocketpcfaq.com
Lastly, I see some weird behavior here with the forums page. If I logon to the forums with my desktop PC using IE the forums revert to the format used for display on a PocketPC, not the norman PC type display. _________________ "When all else fails, read the instructions..."

Greetings. I need some help. I have an iPaq H3950 with Windows CE in Italian. I'd like to sell it, but nobody will buy it with the Italian OS. How can I change it? Anyone have any good advice? Please write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
While it may be possible to flash an English OS version of PPC2002 to the iPAQ using a bootloader trick to dump the ROM image from a CF card in a sleeve, I know next to nothing about that, and the risk of making it into a paperweight is rather grim. Even just getting the image might be a trick these days, unless HP is selling them, and from what I've seen of ROM upgrades it is unlikely that a different-language upgrade would be possible using the OEM's CD. More likely to get an error message.
So I'd suggest trying to sell it to an Italian buyer. There must be some out there, surely! The 3900-series were among the nicest of the old iPAQ line, the first with a truly usable screen for graphics work (no fog nor blue cast), and I think they can even be upgraded to a higher capacity battery. Very nice device. I wish you luck in this.
