Hi,
The iPAQ has a 240 x 320 display however approximiately 10 pixels are not useable horizontally and 20 pixels vertically due to scroll bars and the status bar.
If someone with an iPAQ 110 has time to look at this, could you let me know if the red border is visible all the way around and which text sizes are viewable?
I do not have an iPAQ 110, but do have a few devices with QVGA screens and of course all Pocket PCs have Pocket IE. So testing on a couple of these, I find that all the text sizes are viewable though the smallest one is a bit about as blurred on a 2.8" screen as it is on my netbook screen. On an HTC Touch Elfin (true QVGA screen) it shows the red line all the way around with gaps on the right and below, when zoomed in to full scale. This is running WM6.5.3. On my Toshiba e830 running in false QVGA mode (it's actually a VGA screen, but for my kid's ease of use I've got it in the default QVGA mode) the red lines all show, but I have to scroll down about 35 pixels or so to see the bottom one. Using SPB Pocket Plus on this WM2003SE device to go to full screen mode in PIE, all red lines appear without scrolling as on the WM6.5.3 device. And as it's a 4" screen, all the text is crystal clear. I should also mention that 'size 6 text' and 'size 5 text' appear to be identical in scale. There are quite a few limitations in the various versions of Pocket IE, so you should be familiar with these if designing for that browser.
