I have bought new batteries and still can't work out why it just dies. The characters on the screen just fade out and I press the on button for a few minutes to no avail. I take the battery out and replace it and that sometimes helps and sometimes does not. Can't work out why? Does this happen to anyone else? Do you have any ideas?

Nope, but you may have better luck finding an answer if you post this in the Pocket PC section. The Handheld PC is a very different type of device, and that's what we deal with here. Confused
