I have an O2 XDA Exec on Windows Mobile 5.0. It has now become very unstable most of the time. It as if a ghost is repeatedly pressing the tab button on the right click button and the cursor scans quickly from left to right or up to down. In Excel for example, when it happens the cursor quickly tabs to the far right of the spreadsheet in column HH. On a list of files it wil scan down the page then go back up to the top. It cannot be a mechanical problem because no one key replicates it. (its a combination of tab and arrow actions).
The problem has occasionally happened for some time but has mostly been temporarily fixed by soft resetting it. Now that doesn't work for very long. No one action seems to trigger it off. I have tried dramatically reducing the amount of memory used but that has no effect.
Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi,
It could be a problem with installed software. Did you try a hard reset - you will lose all your data, and then see if it has the same problem?

If it does then try contacting www.pocketpctechs.com for assistance with a repair.
