I am trying to use VNCview to connect to my Mac OS X laptop. I have the built-in VNC server running and I can connect to it from another OS X laptop and also from my Newton, both over my wireless LAN. However, I cannot from my MobilePro 790. My client laptop and Newton can use Bonjour networking (aka Rendevous or zeroconf), so it's easy to just enter computername.local as the host to which I want to connect and it "just works". But, in VNCview on my H/PC, I am asked for a computer name and display to enter, and so far, nothing I have tried has resulted in a connection. I have tried the IP address, computername, and computername.local, all followed by either :0 or :1 for the display name. What exactly do I need to enter into the connection box for the computer name?
