Rhino Skin Case Review [an error occurred while processing this directive] Rhino Skin CasesRhino Skin offers high quality ballistic nylon cases. They are well built and include padding. I think their designs are quite sporty with the black mesh pockets inside and outside. I liked the feel of the cases. I appreciated the ease of use of the Rhino Pak 1000 and 2000 cases. The Rhino Pak 3000 case is designed to hold some of the 1/2 VGA H/PCs with room to spare. It was not large enough to hold my NEC 750c though it was ideal for the HP Jornada 680. I also found it useful to hold a P/PC (any of them, including the color devices) and the charger and the cradle. This makes the Rhino Pak 3000 case ideal for traveling with all your accessories such as phone cords, modems, etc. FeaturesAll of the Rhino Pak cases hold the devices in with elastic nylon straps. In some cases the straps fit well such as the Rhino Pak 1000 case and the Casio, Compaq or HP color P/PCs. With the Rhino Pak 2000 case the HP Jornada 680 fits snugly in the case but you can not use the nylon straps to hold the unit in. In the Rhino Pak 3000 case Rhino Skin has offered the ability to hold an H/PC or a P/PC. The P/PC only takes up 1/2 the space in the case leaving extra room for accessories or the charger. Each zipper has two pulls for easy opening and closing. The pull-tabs are a nice addition to allow for easy closing and opening of the cases. In both the Rhino Pak 2000 and 3000 cases there are 2 external pockets and internal pocket for a pen or stylus and business cards. The bottom pocket of the Rhino Pak 2000 is just large enough to put your checkbook in. I'm sure you will find uses for the pockets in these cases for modem cables and other stuff you need with your H/PC or P/PC. Both the Rhino Pak 2000 and 3000 have handles along the spine of the case for easy carrying. One thing I did notice is that the Rhino Pak 1000 case has a cardboard stiffener that allows the case to keep its shape with or without a device. Also, the pockets on the Rhino Pak 1000 will hold small thin things like business cards or notes. Each of the cases are designed to be attached to your belt loop. This is most practical with the Rhino Pak 1000 and 2000 cases. The Rhino Pak 3000 case is somewhat large for this use. Also, you can use the Rhino Pak 3000 case with the included shoulder strap for easy carrying as well. Sizes and PricingRhino Pak 1000, $26.95 - 6.25 x 4.25 x 1 inches Rhino Pak 2000, $39.95 - 7.25 x 4.5 x 1.5 inches Rhino Pak 3000, $49.95 - 8.5 x 6.0 x 3.0 inches ConclusionOverall I liked the design styling and quality of the Rhino Pak cases. These cases are well built and look like they will last. I'm sure you will find other stuff to store in these cases as well.[an error occurred while processing this directive] |
