MyMobileStuff.com Launches Search Engine for Wireless-Friendly Web Sites

Brooklyn, NY, April 09, 2001 – MyMobileStuff.com, a first mover in wireless directory services, today announced the availability of the world’s first address-based search engine that exclusively searches for Web sites optimized for wireless handheld devices.

Users can browse for content through any of 9 searchable topics, including finance, entertainment, technology, living, news, info, portal, travel, and sports. Unlike most wireless Web portals, MyMobileStuff.com (http://www.mymobilestuff.com) enables users to search for wireless Web sites via a Web address.

“We’re very excited about this announcement, as it makes MyMobileStuff.com the first to market with an address-based search engine for handheld-friendly Web sites,” said Kevin Burrowes, president of MyMobileStuff.com.

“Currently, owners of wireless handheld devices need to jump through too many hoops to get the information they want when they want it. This is because mobile content portals hold URLs hostage from the public, forcing users to sign up with multiple services to gain access to a variety wireless-friendly sites. That is no longer necessary, as MyMobileStuff.com visitors get a single gateway to a robust selection of Web sites available for Palm devices and Pocket PCs. Additionally, the free service does not require any software downloads, saving precious space on handheld devices,” said Burrowes, a seven-year veteran Web developer.

MyMobileStuff.com, has already garnered more than 350 Web listings optimized for handheld products. And, that number is rapidly increasing, as MyMobileStuff.com is adding approximately 60 new wireless-friendly Web sites to its directory each week.

About MyMobileStuff.com MyMobileStuff.com, a privately held company headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, provides users with the first address-based search engine for handheld devices. The MyMobileStuff.com wireless portal supports both the Palm OS and Pocket PC platforms.
