As some of you know, the power requirements for PC Card Modems varies greatly. The following information is to assist you in selecting the appropriate modem. Additional factors should be included, such as cellular capability and other features. All of these PC Card modems are Type II cards.  Also, you can use a CompactFlash Modem with a PC Card adapter in lieu of a PC Card Modem.

mA = Milliamperes. Each PC Card works at 5 volts. Lower values indicate longer battery life.
