As you may know the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PCs provide a way to "reboot" them. This process is called a soft reset. However with Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PCs, users need to ensure that all data stored in ram is written to flash before performing a soft reset. If you do not follow this process, you may corrupt some data on your Pocket PC. This is different than prior Windows Mobile devices that store data in ram.
